Terms and Conditions
How verusrestoration.com and our text messaging work — the plain-English version first, the full terms after.
Effective October 20, 2026.
Terms and Conditions
Plain-English summary: this website is for information and for getting in touch with us. It is not an emergency line, its articles are not professional advice, and nothing here is a contract for restoration work — that happens in a separate written agreement. If you text us, standard messaging terms apply and you can reply STOP at any time. The full terms follow.
Agreement to These Terms
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of verusrestoration.com and any related pages, forms, text-messaging programs and online tools we operate (together, the “Site”). The Site is owned and operated by Verus Property Restoration, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company doing business as Verus Restoration (“Verus,” “we,” “us” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Site, submitting a form, or opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. You may still reach us by phone at (404) 983-0966.
These Terms apply to the Site only. Restoration, remediation, cleaning and reconstruction services we perform at a property are governed by a separate written agreement, as described in Section 5.
Who We Are
Verus Property Restoration, LLC provides water, fire, smoke, mold and storm damage restoration, drying and dehumidification, contents cleaning and storage, and reconstruction services to residential and commercial properties in Metro Atlanta and Northeast Georgia. We are headquartered in Norcross, Georgia.

The Site Is Not an Emergency Service
If anyone is in danger, call 911. The Site, its forms and its email address are not monitored for life-safety emergencies. For an urgent property-damage response, call or text (404) 983-0966 rather than submitting a form.
Submitting a form, sending an email or sending a text message does not guarantee a response within any particular time. While we answer our phone line 24 hours a day, online messages are read and answered as quickly as we are able.
Informational Content Is Not Professional Advice
The Site contains general information about property damage, restoration practices, building science, weather risks and the insurance claims process, including articles and guides. This content is provided for general educational purposes only. It is not restoration, engineering, legal, insurance or financial advice, and it does not create a client or contractual relationship between you and Verus.
Every property and every loss is different. Conditions such as the category and class of water, the materials involved, the time elapsed, local codes and the terms of your own insurance policy change what should be done. Do not rely on the Site’s content in place of an on-site assessment by a qualified professional, the terms of your policy, or advice from your insurer, agent, attorney or other advisor.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that any content is complete, accurate or up to date. References to laws, regulations, insurance practices, costs and third-party data reflect our understanding at the time of writing and may change.
Requesting Services Through the Site
You may use the Site to request information, ask for a call back or describe a property-damage situation. Submitting a request:
- is a request only, not an order, and does not obligate Verus to perform any work;
- does not form a contract for services, and no services are scheduled, priced or guaranteed until agreed in writing;
- authorizes us to contact you by phone, text message and email about your request, using the details you provide.
Any restoration, remediation, cleaning, storage or reconstruction work we perform is governed by a separate written work authorization, service agreement or estimate that you (or an authorized representative of the property) sign before work begins, together with any change orders. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed service agreement, the service agreement controls for that work.
Information on the Site about services, processes, equipment, response times and service areas is descriptive and may change. Any cost figures that appear in our articles are general industry ranges from third-party sources and are not quotes or estimates from Verus.
Insurance Matters
Verus is a restoration contractor. We are not an insurance company, an insurance agent, a licensed public adjuster or a law firm, and nothing on the Site is a representation about what your insurance policy covers.
- Coverage decisions are made solely by your insurer under the terms of your policy.
- You remain responsible for your deductible and for any amounts your insurer does not pay, as set out in your service agreement with us.
- Where we provide photographs, moisture readings, inventories or itemized estimates, we do so to document the work we perform; the insurer’s own adjustment may differ.
- You are free to choose any restoration contractor. We do not pay or waive insurance deductibles, and we do not participate in any arrangement that misstates the cost or scope of work to an insurer.
Text Messaging (SMS/MMS) Terms
Verus offers text messaging so that customers and prospective customers can reach us quickly and receive updates about their requests and jobs. By texting us, by providing your mobile number through a Site form and agreeing to receive texts, or by replying to a message from us, you consent to receive text messages from Verus Property Restoration, LLC at that number, including messages sent using automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any service.
- Program: Verus Restoration customer service and job updates — responses to your inquiries, scheduling and arrival updates, documentation requests and account notices. We do not send marketing text messages unless you have separately opted in to receive them.
- Message frequency varies based on your request and the status of any job. Conversational messages are sent in reply to you.
- Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan.
- To stop: reply STOP at any time to cancel text messages. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed. After that, you can still reach us by phone or email.
- For help: reply HELP to be connected with our team and receive assistance information, email [email protected] or call (404) 983-0966.
- Carriers: text messaging is supported by major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier.
- Photos and attachments you send us by text are handled as described in Section 10 and in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text-messaging opt-in information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
- Emergencies: text messaging is not a substitute for 911. If you do not receive a prompt reply to an urgent text, call us.
Phone Calls and Communications
Calls to and from our business lines may be monitored or recorded for quality, training and record-keeping purposes. By calling us or accepting a call from us, you consent to such recording where permitted by law. Email is not a secure medium; please do not send payment card numbers, government identification numbers or other highly sensitive information by email or text.
By providing a phone number or email address, you confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of that number or address and are authorized to consent to communications at it. Please tell us promptly if a number you provided is reassigned or no longer yours.
Acceptable Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict the use of the Site by, anyone else. You may not:
- submit false, misleading or fraudulent requests, or impersonate any person or property owner;
- use any robot, scraper or other automated means to access, copy or monitor the Site or its content without our written permission;
- interfere with the Site’s operation or security, probe or test its vulnerability, or introduce malicious code;
- use our forms or phone numbers to send unsolicited advertising or solicitations to us;
- frame or mirror any part of the Site, or use our name, logo or content to suggest an affiliation or endorsement that does not exist.
We may limit, suspend or block access to the Site, and decline to respond to requests, at our discretion, including where we believe these Terms have been violated.
Information and Materials You Send Us
When you send us information through the Site, by email or by text — descriptions of damage, photographs, videos, documents, insurance details — you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not violate anyone else’s rights. You grant Verus a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, copy and share that material as reasonably needed to respond to your request, perform and document services, communicate with your insurer at your direction, and maintain our business records.
We will not use identifiable photographs of your property in marketing without your separate permission. Please do not send us material you consider confidential beyond what is needed for your request. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
The Site and everything on it — text, articles, graphics, maps, illustrations, photographs, page designs, code, the Verus name, logo and crest, and the arrangement of all of these — are owned by or licensed to Verus Property Restoration, LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. “Verus Restoration,” the Verus crest and related marks are trademarks of Verus Property Restoration, LLC.
You may view, download and print pages from the Site for your personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep all copyright and other notices intact. Any other use — including republishing our articles, reproducing our maps or graphics, or using our marks — requires our prior written permission. Requests may be sent to [email protected]. Brief quotations with a link back to the source page are welcome.
Third-Party Links, Tools and Content
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, embedded forms and scheduling tools, maps, social media feeds, review platforms and other services that we do not control. We provide them for convenience. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or availability of any third-party site or service, and a link does not mean we endorse it. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms. Information from third-party sources that we cite in our articles belongs to those sources and may change without our knowledge.
Reviews, Testimonials and Examples
Reviews, testimonials and project examples that appear on the Site reflect the experiences and opinions of the individuals involved and are not a guarantee of any particular result. Results depend on the condition of the property, the nature of the loss, the time elapsed before work began, insurance decisions and other factors outside our control. We may edit testimonials for length or clarity without changing their meaning.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Site or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components. This Section applies to the Site only; warranties, if any, for services we perform at a property are stated in your written service agreement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verus Property Restoration, LLC, its members, managers, employees, contractors and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, use or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Site or its content, or your reliance on any information on the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. This Section applies to the Site only and does not limit any liability of Verus under a written service agreement for work performed at a property.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Verus Property Restoration, LLC and its members, managers, employees, contractors and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, any material you submit to us, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
Governing Law and Venue
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Gwinnett County, Georgia have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts. If you are a consumer, nothing in this Section deprives you of protections that cannot be waived under the law of the place where you live.
Changes to the Site and These Terms
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Terms on this page and update the effective date at the top. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes to the text-messaging terms in Section 7 will be communicated by text message where required.
General Provisions
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Verus about the Site, and they supersede any prior understanding about the Site. They do not replace any written service agreement.
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force, and the unenforceable provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
- Survival. Sections 4, 6 and 10 through 20 survive any termination of your use of the Site.
Accessibility
We want the Site to be usable by everyone. If you have difficulty accessing any part of it, or need information in another format, contact us at [email protected] or (404) 983-0966 and we will help.
