Water, Fire, Mold & Storm Damage Restoration for Norcross Homes, Apartments, Warehouses and Businesses — From Our Own Backyard
Norcross is home. Verus Restoration is headquartered here, which makes it the fastest response in our service area: when a cast-iron drain backs up under a Victorian on South Peachtree Street, a sprinkler lets go in a warehouse off Jimmy Carter Boulevard, or a washer line floods the apartment below yours on Beaver Ruin Road, the crew is already in town. One team responds 24 hours a day and stays through cleanup, drying, repairs and full reconstruction.
Norcross is the center of our 21-market service area — the historic downtown, the 1960s–80s neighborhoods, the apartment communities along I-85, and one of the largest warehouse districts in metro Atlanta. (404) 983-0966, any hour.
The city of Norcross is six square miles, but a “Norcross” address covers far more: the Indian Trail and Beaver Ruin neighborhoods in unincorporated Gwinnett, and thousands of businesses in Peachtree Corners that kept their Norcross mailing address when that city incorporated in 2012. We serve all of it.

Why local knowledge matters
What Puts Norcross Properties at Risk
We see more Norcross losses than anywhere else, for the simplest reason: this is where we are. The patterns are clear.
Century-old homes and 1970s subdivisions
The historic district has houses from the 1880s to the 1920s with galvanized and cast-iron plumbing and a century of additions; the Beaver Ruin and Mitchell Road neighborhoods were built in the 1960s–80s with the original drains, water heaters and — in the later ones — polybutylene supply lines still in service. See water damage repair and mold remediation.
Apartment communities along I-85
Jimmy Carter, Indian Trail, Beaver Ruin and Singleton Road carry some of the densest apartment housing in Gwinnett, much of it 1970s–80s garden-style buildings with original plumbing and aging water heaters in every unit. A failure upstairs is a loss on every floor below. See multifamily & commercial restoration.
Warehouses, restaurants and the I-85 corridor
Norcross has one of the largest concentrations of warehouse and distribution space in metro Atlanta, plus hundreds of restaurants and markets along Jimmy Carter and Buford Highway. Sprinkler discharges, roof leaks over inventory, forklift-damaged lines and kitchen fires need a fast, documented commercial response — and we’re minutes from all of it. See fire & smoke damage and contents cleaning & storage.
Beaver Ruin Creek, flat lots and storms
Beaver Ruin Creek runs the length of the city and rises fast; the neighborhoods and apartment complexes along it and the flat lots near Buford Highway take on water after heavy rain. Spring storms drop the old oaks in the historic district on roofs and power lines. See flooding cleanup and storm damage.

A Few Things About Norcross
Named for a mayor
Norcross was chartered on October 26, 1870 and named for Jonathan Norcross, a former mayor of Atlanta and railroad official. It’s one of the oldest cities in Gwinnett County.
A resort town
In the 1880s Norcross was a summer resort for Atlantans escaping the city on the train — the Brunswick Hotel stood across from the depot. That railroad downtown is now on the National Register of Historic Places.
Doubled in a decade
Norcross grew from 9,116 people in 2010 to 17,209 in 2020 — an 88% jump, mostly through annexation.
International Norcross
Nearly half of residents are Hispanic or Latino, and the Jimmy Carter Boulevard corridor is one of the most international business districts in Georgia. Waffle House is headquartered here too.
On screen
The downtown square stood in for a small Missouri town in the ABC series Resurrection; its Victorian storefronts have been a film and TV location ever since.
Peachtree Corners
When Peachtree Corners incorporated in 2012, thousands of homes and businesses kept their Norcross addresses — which is why “Norcross, GA” still shows up on mail from Technology Park to the river.

Source stopped, moisture mapped, photos taken, materials listed — everything your insurance claim (and your landlord or property manager) will need, from the first visit.
One team through the rebuild

Our headquarters is in Norcross, Georgia, near the I-85 / Buford Highway / Peachtree Industrial corridor. That central spot is why Norcross gets the fastest response in our service area and why we reach Gwinnett, north DeKalb, north Fulton and east Cobb quickly. Call or text (404) 983-0966 any hour.
Do you serve Norcross addresses outside the city limits?
Yes — all of them. That includes the Indian Trail, Beaver Ruin and Singleton Road neighborhoods in unincorporated Gwinnett (30093), the Peachtree Corners businesses that still use a Norcross address (30092), and the city itself (30071). If it says Norcross, we’re there.
I manage a warehouse off Jimmy Carter Boulevard. A sprinkler head discharged overnight. What now?
Call us first — we’re minutes away. We extract the water, protect or move inventory and equipment, dry the slab and racking area with commercial equipment, and document everything for your property and business-interruption claims. If the roof or a line failed, we coordinate with your plumber or roofer so the repair and the drying happen in the right order.
I live in an apartment on Beaver Ruin Road. The unit above me flooded mine. Who do I call?
Call us and tell your property manager. We dry and restore your unit, document the damage separately from your neighbor’s and the building’s, and coordinate access with the office. Your renter’s policy generally covers your belongings; the property’s policy covers the building. We give both adjusters what they need.
My house downtown is over 100 years old. Can you dry it without tearing it apart?
Yes. Plaster, heart-pine floors and old-growth framing dry differently than drywall, and a crew that demos everything wet will take the house with it. We dry in place wherever the moisture readings allow, remove only what has to go, and rebuild to match. If your home is in the historic district, we work within the review requirements.
What should I do first if I find water or fire damage in Norcross?
Make sure everyone is safe, stop the source if you can do so safely (shut off the main water valve; after a fire, don’t touch soot or run the HVAC), photograph the damage, and call (404) 983-0966. We’re already in town.
Norcross is where our trucks start every call. When something goes wrong at your property, the people fixing it are your neighbors — and they already know the street.
