Water, Fire, Mold & Storm Damage Restoration for Peachtree Corners Homes, Subdivisions and Businesses

Peachtree Corners is next door to our Norcross headquarters — the two cities share a border, a ZIP code and most of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. When a 1980s supply line fails above a finished basement in Amberfield, a storm drops a pine on a roof in Peachtree Station, or a sprinkler lets go over a server room in Technology Park, one team responds 24 hours a day and stays through cleanup, drying, repairs and full reconstruction.

Peachtree Corners is one of the 21 markets in our core service area — Gwinnett’s largest city, the swim-and-tennis subdivisions, the river neighborhoods, the townhomes along Holcomb Bridge and the 2,300 businesses in its office parks alike. (404) 983-0966, any hour.

Why local knowledge matters

What Puts Peachtree Corners Properties at Risk

Forty- and fifty-year-old subdivisions, a lot of basements, seven miles of river and the densest office stock in Gwinnett: Peachtree Corners keeps us busy, and it’s a short drive.

  1. 1970s–90s subdivisions and their plumbing

Peachtree Station, Spalding Corners and the first Technology Park-era neighborhoods are approaching fifty; Amberfield and the river subdivisions were built when polybutylene supply lines were standard. Add original water heaters, upstairs laundries and aging supply hoses, and water losses behind walls and ceilings are the most common call we get here. See water damage repair.

  2. Finished basements on wooded lots

Most Peachtree Corners homes sit on basements, and most of those are finished. Failed sump pumps, grading that sends storm water to the foundation, water heaters downstairs and roots in the drain lines all land there — and a wet basement under a canopy stays wet. See basement flooding cleanup and mold remediation.

  3. Office parks, hotels and the Holcomb Bridge corridor

More than 2,300 businesses and a dozen hotels sit in Technology Park and along Peachtree Parkway and Holcomb Bridge, plus thousands of townhome and apartment units. Sprinkler discharges, roof leaks over offices and server rooms, failed lines in stacked units and hotel-wing losses need a fast, documented commercial response. See commercial & multifamily restoration and contents cleaning & storage.

  4. The river, Crooked Creek and the pines

The Chattahoochee wraps the north and west of the city, and Crooked Creek runs through the middle of it. Heavy rain means wet crawl spaces and flooded lower levels in the river and creek neighborhoods, and the tall pines that make Peachtree Corners feel like a forest come down on roofs in spring storms and ice. See storm damage and water removal.

A Few Things About Peachtree Corners

  • A planned community

In 1967 Georgia Tech alumnus Paul Duke raised $1.7 million to build Technology Park Atlanta, then founded Peachtree Corners, Inc. to build the neighborhoods around it — the only northern Atlanta suburb developed as a planned community.

  • Pinckneyville

Before Peachtree Corners there was Pinckneyville, a farm community on the Buford-to-Atlanta road that had the county’s second school by 1827 — on what is now Spalding Drive. The railroad through Norcross in 1870 drew the town away.

  • Gwinnett’s largest city

Residents voted to incorporate on November 8, 2011, and the city opened for business on July 1, 2012 with 43,000 people — the largest city in Gwinnett County from day one.

  • Curiosity Lab

Technology Park is now home to Curiosity Lab, a 500-acre smart-city test bed with a 3-mile autonomous-vehicle track, the country’s first roadway solar panels and teleoperated e-scooters.

  • Headquarters town

Hapag-Lloyd’s North American headquarters, Comcast’s Southeast headquarters, ASHRAE, Siemens Smart Infrastructure and the Harlem Globetrotters all call Peachtree Corners home, and Intuitive Surgical is building a 750,000-square-foot campus here.

  • Seven miles of river

The Chattahoochee forms the city’s north and west edges, with Jones Bridge Park, Simpsonwood’s 227 acres and Holcomb Bridge Park along it. Ozark’s final season filmed at Jones Bridge Park in 2021.

Questions

Peachtree Corners Restoration FAQs

My mail says Norcross. Am I in Peachtree Corners, and do you serve me?

Probably, and yes either way. Most of Peachtree Corners uses the Norcross ZIP 30092, and the edges use Duluth ZIPs. Whether your address is Peachtree Corners, Norcross or Duluth, you’re in our core service area, 24 hours a day — and our headquarters is right across the city line.

How quickly can Verus get to Peachtree Corners?

Peachtree Corners borders Norcross, where we’re headquartered, so it’s one of the fastest responses in our service area. We’re open around the clock; call or text (404) 983-0966 and we’ll give you an honest arrival window and tell you what to do in the meantime.

We’re an office in Technology Park and a pipe burst overnight. What happens to our equipment and files?

Call us first — we’re minutes away. We extract the water, protect or relocate electronics, furniture and records, dry the space with commercial equipment, and document everything for your property and business-interruption claims. Our contents team can pack out, clean and store what needs to leave the building while the repairs happen, so you can keep working.

My house was built in 1988. Should I be worried about polybutylene pipes?

If the supply lines are gray plastic with crimp fittings, yes — have a plumber confirm. Polybutylene fails without warning, usually inside a wall or above a ceiling, so the first sign is a stain, a bubble in the paint or a jump in the water bill. Know where your main shut-off is, and if you find water, call us the same day; drying a wall cavity early is the difference between a repair and a rebuild.

Do you work with HOAs and swim-and-tennis communities?

Every day. We coordinate with the association on exterior work, dumpsters and access, keep the site tidy, and document everything for both your policy and the HOA’s requirements. One point of contact for the whole loss.

What should I do first if I find water or fire damage in Peachtree Corners?

Make sure everyone is safe, stop the source if you can do so safely (shut off the main water valve; after a fire, don’t touch soot or run the HVAC), photograph the damage, and call (404) 983-0966. We’re next door.

Peachtree Corners shares a city line with our headquarters. When something goes wrong at your property, the people fixing it are the ones who drive past your subdivision every day.
